beautiful rifle and excellent range report .... That is one beauty of a rifle and for that kind money a great bargain from the quality of the wood and brass!
Great shooting with that .45-70 too !
I have a 1885 High Wall in .45-70 and it is fun to shoot...especially with a 500 gr. torpedo...OUCH !

Beautiful rifle, indeed. But then, it's a Henry. Haven't seen an ugly one yet. Some good shooting too. That wood is really nice.

I'll be posting another range report on the Henry Single Shot near term. I found a .45 70 that it really likes. Come to think of it, I like it, too.

Same here, excellent write up and review. The wood grain in that stock has some real character.

Sweet wood on the rifle, nice shooting too!
Not flinching with a lightweight .45-70 isn't the easiest thing to do.
