After waiting two days, got a call from my Step Mom this morning. She wanted to prepare me for what looks like the inevitable. He's in very bad condition. They were going to try the feeding tube again today, but Dr says he's in really bad shape. Now, just awaiting the probable horrible call..my heart is feeling very heavy.
Two days ago , he rallied, and they at least got to talk.
He does have a DNR order, so, this is the last chance.

It's all right Mark. You'll never lose him. I lost my Dad in 1977. He was only 67 years old and I miss him yet today, but he is in my heart and mind and always will be. The things he taught me made me who I am.

I feel your pain my friend.

Evening, got the evening off from the daughter's tonight.
Their out looking at some things.
Sitting here listening to the rain, drinking a cold B&T.
Thinking about something a tad stronger. ;)

Mark how's pop?

Thank you ALL. just got home from next door. No report on Dad today. Hope no news is good news!!!
Gonna pour a nightcap, and put myself in bed soon. Could use a little warm up down the pipe right now.
After that, I'll look at the eyelids.☺

I can see a cold beer in a frosted mug in a little while.
We brought a lot of oysters from Texas. Yes, frozen but still better that imported from China.
So, here we go.

The Wife thought I was getting pretty shaggy, and I was, so she wanted to cut my hair. :?

"Oh hell no, never happen!" I said.

So she cut my hair. Not too bad I have to admit. Not too bad.
So my reward will be Oysters grilled on the half shell with Garlic Butter, Minced Onions and Peppers,
topped with browned cheese and just a touch of Tabasco. :D

I've been a good boy and I earned it. ;)
