Our Morning Coffee and Weather
Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
A bit cool this AM, 50's, on the way to 70's, they say. Got chainsaw work to do today, if I can conjure up enough energy, LOL
I rarely ever buy a rifle, but when I do, it's a Henry.

Winter and Spring doing battle here in the Northland. This morning it's 30* with a dull overcast. Huge difference from the recent sunny, +70* afternoons. Yesterday the wind chills drop the temp into the 20s. We had a mini ice storm which made the deck partially white with icicles hanging from the railings, and the tree branches were silver-colored and weighed down. Robins decided to take the day off. Had to yank door to get the mailbox open. Early look outside right now and no ice. Roller-coaster.

46 headed to 71 under a beautiful Carolina Blue Sky with a 0% chance of rain in our part of the Tar Heel State .... no major chance of rain in the 10 day forecast, high tree and rising grass pollen .... breakfast over, Folgers keeps flowing though a Henry mug
Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
20 this morning with clear skies. We have had light snow overnight three nights in a row. BUT, spring is supposed to arrive next week with temps up to 60 and sunny days. I can hardly wait.
Heading up to our property which is close to the Canadian border today to do some repairs. Some scumbag broke the door handle off and broke into the metal building on the property. I have some stuff stored up there and they had everything piled up by the big door ready to load out. Fortunately that night about 18” of snow came down effectively blocking access to the building. I went up and snowshoed to the building and replaced the lock and today I’m heading up to haul stuff home and add two deadbolts and some steel angle to the door.

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
45° and looks mostly sunny for now. Dark roast coffee is waking me up slowly. Dogs fed and in my lap. Hunkering in is in the forecast. I do need to make a run to the country store to fill my gas cans and SXS up. At least I'll get out to do that. Stay safe and healthy everybody.
