Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
Good morning, woke up to a nice 59°, going up to 86° they say later.
Going to pick up my ole Winchester from the gunsmith's this afternoon.
Had a newer barrel put on it, hopefully now it will be a shooter.

Snow tires going on today. 50's but temps in the 20's by weekend and snow for a few days. Leaves still on trees.

61 last night on its way to 87 later today, still with a 0% chance of rain in central NC .... getting a bit dry but only 1 day in the next 10 shows more than a 20% chance of rain .... our area is now officially listed as being "Abnormally Dry" on its way to being classified a Moderate Drought .... no significant chance of rain in the forecast until late next week

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
Big storm blew through last night. Cold front. Was 82 yesterday and now is 56 and forecast to get into 60s today.
Fall weather and I love it. Coffee in my VFW cup.
My son in law and his dad spent the day with me and we painted the exterior of my shop. Looks nice.
My shop is actually a detached two car garage. Last Winter we gutted the interior and finished it off
with lots of insulation and steel wall panels. Also installed a propane furnace.
I have since built three heavy work benches and will now get them painted.
I told myself that I could not finish the inside work until the exterior was done.
I replaced some rotten wood and power washed the exterior prior to painting.
Outside is now finished.

Sounds like you are ready, but they are saying you could get up to 12” of that white crap! That’s just too much too early! Hope your trees make it through. We lost a ton to an early season snow last year in our local mountains.RanchRoper wrote: ↑Tue Sep 24, 2019 9:26 amSnow tires going on today. 50's but temps in the 20's by weekend and snow for a few days. Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
It absolutely hammered down rain most of the night here. It’s 57* now, and headed for a whopping 61* this afternoon but supposed to be sunny.
I’m picking up $30,000 worth of hardwood flooring on my flat deck today, and taking it 5 hours drive northeast tomorrow. Hope the rain stays away. We’re going to start driving at 2:00 am in order to be in “the spot” at first light. I’ve got whitetail, mule deer and moose tags in my pocket and have seen all three at this spot as recently as last week.
