Re: Stihl FS131
We've had a Stihl (FS-75) trimmer for 20 years or more. Can't kill it.
Re: Stihl FS131
I had a Stihl weedeater at work for many years, it got a lot of use as I was allowed to take it and use at home. Was still going strong when I retired. Had to get my own Stihl then. Was using E10 gas but did some research when I got a Stihl chainsaw and now use 100% gas (with Stihl 4 cycle oil of course).

Re: Stihl FS131
Wise choice Dave! Just filled the first tank full in my brand new 4 Wheeler with 100% gas. Will never use anything but in it.dave77 wrote: ↑Wed Aug 28, 2019 6:08 pmI had a Stihl weedeater at work for many years, it got a lot of use as I was allowed to take it and use at home. Re: Stihl FS131
I use it in my Miata, no proof but my butt dyno says it's a little peppier running the 100%.
Re: Stihl FS131
My Stihl blower is also in the "can't kill it" category, and the Stihl "family chainsaw" that we pass around for clean up projects is great, too!
THAT, however, is a major piece of weed-whacking hardware! Happy to say my needs in that category run to the Ryobi rechargable battery-operated type!
