The "Dog Days" grow less intense and less frequent in KC. Heat index of 105 today, but low/mid 80s by Wednesday and Thursday, which is good news for our KC gathering!

My condolences Vaquero.

It’s been cooler than usual here this summer. We usually see lots of upper 80s and low 90s, but it’s beem 90% in the mid 70s this year. Our pool is a bit colder, but I’m way more productive at work in the cooler temps. Time to go switch on the espresso machine...

Have a good day y’all!

Very saddened at your loss of your sister. I do know exactly what that feels like, as my sister died at a young age in 2010. Trust and pray your day will go well for you and family.

Take good care.

Thanks guys, it was a nice service.
She was our special sister, and lived more than twice plus what the doctors told our parents when she was young.
She is now back with them.
In that we can rejoice.

My youngest brother passed away in 2007 at the age of 51 from Cystic Fibrosis. His life expectancy at birth was less than a decade. Like you, I rejoice in that he lived an almost normal and full life. He was delightful.

Thanks for sharing, RP. Love hurts.
