It was warm enough outside that I could afford to burn some presto-logs. The thermometer is halfway across the room so you can see it was a comfortable 50 degrees. It later even reached 64.

I dug my bb trap out of the snow and perched it on the woodpile.

I was shooting the Red Ryder from in front of the chair and near the stove. I would guess it was about 20 feet. I could easily hit the trap every time but missed the spinners half the time.

The trap is between the trailer and lawn mower. This was a wide angle picture.

Do you still have the Daisy powerline pellet rifle? Single pump and made for ten meter target practice. I bet you would be hitting the spinners better.

Good for you, Gene. Shooting indoors over our long, cold winters has been one of the great advantages of air gun shooting for me. I haven't been doing much indoor work with the air rifles the last couple of years, though, because we keep our old dog in the basement over the winters, now. He just can't take the cold the way he used to. Oh, I do miss the indoor shooting, but no regrets. He's been such a good dog and this may be his last winter. My indoor shooting can wait.
Meanwhile, when the weather allows, I just step out on the deck for a few shots with the rimfires.

Yes I do but I leave it in the house. I don’t care if the cheap bbguns sit out in subzero temperatures.
