I’m surprised the mud didn’t suck those shoes right off your feet.Sir Henry wrote: ↑Tue Mar 12, 2024 9:50 amThey give the best arch support of any shoes I’ve worn. I currently have five different Oboz although four are two pair exactly the same. I switch between the same kind pair so they get an extra day to dry.
The five pair doesn’t include two older worn out pair like the ones in the picture. I save them as mud shoes.
Guess who just had a birthday? We did. Henry Rifle Forums has made it to the 10 year mark. Thank you to all members, I'm glad you are here!

These gongs are sure a lot of fun. The traps were way to big to challenge myself to make it fun. The larger gong is about the same size as the traps but the smallest gong makes me concentrate.
I shoot rimfire offhand at 35 yards mostly. Sometimes I’ll get back to 50 but the van can’t be parked in the driveway.

I would need to be bench shooting to have a chance of hitting one.

Did a little afternoon gong plinking this afternoon. Took the Rossi 45 colt out for a little spin. These 250 gr MB co rfn over 8.5 grs of unique and I was slapping all the steel. Hardly missed even the 4" ones. Found 20 195 swc's that were loaded over 6.5 grs of Red dot and could only hit the bigger gongs with them. But I did move farther back, to the picnic table, but was also leaning on one elbow while earlier shooting just offhand.

Looks better than that funky factory stain they applied.
