I have had good luck with Aguila SV and HV 22 ammo, so the accuracy issue with the Colibri is not the brand, but the specific load. Colibri is a 29 grain bullet in a 22 LR case, so it's basically an underpowered CB Long. Even CB Shorts at 710 fps have more velocity. In fact, I have pellet pistols with more velocity, not to mention accuracy. The whole idea of Colibri, though, is not accuracy. It's to provide the quietest possible 22 ammo possible and I'd rate it as a success in that regard.

In the past, I have seen boxes of Colibri with a label warning not to shoot them in rifles, but the label is not on the new boxes.

Yes, I have had squibs with the Colibri in rifles, so I personally do not recommend shooting Colibri in rifles for that reason. Note that some brands of 22 rifles run tighter bores than others (CZ rimfire bores are especially tight).

Please, if you do shoot these Colibri in rifles, be very careful. If you get a squib with one Colibri and shoot another Colibri, I doubt there would be a lot of damage to the gun, but if you get a squib with Colibri and shoot an SV or HV round behind it, not good.
