Love the Stevens? single shot.
Yes, a Stevens, it started life as a 25, but somewhere along it's life someone had it relined to a 22lr.
It's a pretty good shooter, I mostly just used the standard vel., or shorts in it.
The extractor doesn't work reliably 100% of the the time, but is much better with those two vs the HV stuff.

I started the day plinking on my new bullet trap stands. One thing I’ve noticed is they are louder when on the stands. Instead of a duller thump they tend to not only be louder but have a higher pitch. Especially with HV.

I wouldn't have predicted that, but it makes sense. Guess it's one of those things you find out after the fact. I'd still prefer them like that for the sake of good shooting than down on the ground, though.

It’s not really daily plinking when I haven’t plinked on this thread in months. But I did get off a few rounds. As you can see there isn’t enough snow for winter sports and also so cold I don’t want to work in the shop.

This is a fun little pistol with fixed sights. Yes I know I would have missed the trap had I shot. It’s hard to take pictures like this.
