Today

Rode my golf cart down to my personal range this evening. Only carried 100 rds of .22 and my 6 in S&W mdl 17. Set up some clay birds and plastic cans. Already have steel swingers/pipes and hanging tennis balls. 40 minutes of fun and back to the house.

Nothing like having your own range.
Sounds like a fun afternoon.

You have a great process for your shooting set up.

I have owned several Smith 17s and regard them very highly. Right now, I'm using a 617. That's my kind of plinking for sure.

Sounds like time well spent.
Weather here in central NY has been mild and should get into the 50s by Saturday, and like you, I can shoot right on my own property.
I have a new 6mmARC that I want to mess with, the .357 Henry BBS that has been asking for some use, and I still haven't shot my muzzleloader after hunting with it back in December, so a few rounds will go through that on Saturday too. Might shoot a few handguns as well.
I'm sure it's going to be a mud-fest, but I'll deal with that.
