Nice work. The trouble with me running a dozer is I don't know when to when to quit. My friend has dropped his off here several times for me to use.
Nice looking place you have.

Locals tell me they can’t remember the last time there wasn’t snow for Christmas.

So far I’ve had 154 hours of fun on the tractor.

This is what 225 yards of 1” clear looks like. I will spread about 150 yards over a 45x60 foot platform for a 30x50 foot concrete pad. The rest will be spread much thinner behind the garage pad and will cover an area 100x150 feet.

 Holy cow, that’s a lot of rock. The 154 on your tractor’s hour meter is going to climb quickly. Good to have motorized help!

That little tractor has paid for itself. I do as much work as possible and act as the general contractor. I’ve hired five separate sub-contractors and did the design myself.

Now that spring is here I’m starting on this project again. Yesterday the concert man came out to look at the ground where the garage will go.

I had a neighbor level the ground while I was in the hospital. I’m thinking of adding another 30 loads of road building gravel and making the level area even bigger. I’m hoping to pour the concrete by the end of May.

I just ordered 500 yards of road building gravel. This is the stuff that dries like concrete and doesn’t easily absorb water making it great to drive on.

It’s raining and very muddy but they decided to send a truck out to test the road.

We lucked out and he didn’t get stuck.

But it was close as he sunk in almost up to the axels.

I’ll have a total of 35 loads of 15 yards.
