Your gravel supplier has some good looking dump trucks.

I did more work today. I’m just over halfway done with the rock and will then start or should I say finish with the gravel.

I worked on the road again today. I’ll have one more day moving the existing rock before I start on the gravel. Here are today’s pictures.

I skipped putting a rock at this washout because I’m going to make a path to cut down to the mailbox from the shop.

It sure looks great Gene. Very nice. I like the Heron looking bird making a get away in the last picture.

It’s a Sandhill Crane. I have two that nest and feed on my land. This is the forth summer I’ve seen them. They can live to be 20.

I mowed the lawn today on my Kubota and then jumped on the Branson to finish the rock work. I have a couple that need a slight adjustment but for the most part it’s completed.

I left a break in the line so I can walk out and check my targets.

And on the other side I left a gap for a walkway down to the mailbox. It eroded this spring but it’s as hard as concrete now. The base is road building gravel.

This rock is almost five feet tall and I would like to stand it on its end leaning up against the post. I should have taken the picture from a higher angle.

I ordered two 10x10 foot insulated garage doors today. They are rated at R17 which includes the insulated windows. They are also powered with remotes. The stock doors were cheap and noisy plus snow blew inside with the large gaps.

They should be installed in about a month.

Yes. I’m hoping it will allow me to heat the shop through the Superbowl. I had seven people over last night for steaks on the barbie and an evening of cards. The shop is getting to be the neighborhood hangout. It’s now fully functional with a propane stove and oven, refrigerator, microwave and coffee pot. Plus a big screen TV.
