I don't feel too bad though. A friend told us that the beef farmers don't get all emotional about losing a beef cow but if they lose the family milker they might tear up a bit...

Had a neighbor who kept her " weiner dog " alive for two years. Had him for 12 yrs. By the time he died he could not walk, see, or hear. Reason for keep him alive.. She got him after her very messy divorce and helped her through some dark times and did not want to let go. Pet ties can be very intense as we know. A little understanding with these situations helps.
