I was just on HRAs website looking for .35 Remington offerings (to prove to obstinate Marlin owners that it is truly an obscure caliber) and saw that Henry is now making a .357 Magnum wheel gun! How long has this madness been going on? It’s not the prettiest revolver I’ve ever seen, but it’s pretty dang cool that they are making one!

Just saw this. Kinda spendy, but good luck to them for jumping into the revolver market.

Disappointed that Henry went with a double action instead of a single action. I think a single action would be a much more traditional match for a lever gun and maybe less expensive, too, not to mention there is a real shortage of US made single actions on the market these days. Plenty of DAs out there. Oh, well, just my opinion, of course. Each to their own. Hope it works out for Henry, regardless.

Looks like a cross between a Charter Arms and a Heritage..........Aesthetics are terrible. The design people could have done a lot better.

while a single action would be more traditional, I do prefer a double action .... the fact that "A traditional revolver sight picture is achieved with a fixed notch cut directly into the frame." I find it a bit unique "that a ramped blade front sight, of which three sizes are included for regulating the point of aim to match the point of impact." .... the one handgun I don't have but would like to is a 357 / 38 revolver .... its price is on par with a stainless 7-shot4" Ruger GP100 which puts it in good company .... the Ruger does have an adjustable rear sight which is one important, to me, feature

I can certainly understand the more traditional thinking. I do however kinda like it. It IS a bit expensive though. Tough market to jump into.

I guess they had the spare change to jump into a new product. Sometimes the risk pays off, sometimes it don't. I'll stick with my these. Too old to be buying expensive new revolvers anyway.

Got the Henry email this morning. Yup me too, hard pass on the pistols. No interest is something that looks like an old police revolver.

Who’d a thunk it?

I have had to many bad experiences with Henry quality. A revolver has a lot of parts that have to work precisely together I wonder if Henry is capable of making one that will not have problems. I do not like how they look either; they remind me of the old, cheap RG pistols.

Hard pass on the pistols especially and a big yawner on the rest of the new models because they snubbed the 41 totally. With the quality they have displayed in the last couple years the need a good old fashioned Marine drill Sergeant running the show in the quality control dept. To much poor quality going out the door.

I am disappointed . I always envisioned the look of a Ruger Blackhawk or Uberti. With so many lever rifles out there, it just seems it would have been more wesstern . But, everyone to their on.

In today's business environment a company has to move forward and try new things or get left behind. I don't mind them trying to expand their offerings. I'm sure they had to come up with a style that didn't infringe on other patents although I pretty sure patents on the old Colts and S&W guns have long expired and are public domain by now. Doing brief search firearm patents are only good for 17 years. I guess they could have copied almost any vintage revolver.

Revolvers is actually how Henry got started.

Something I was waiting for and wanting Henry to make for years. But it's too late, I bought a Ruger Vaquero. Although I agree with some of the comments, disappointing that it's not a Single Action and also not really impressed with it's non-traditional looks. Also, ouch on the price. My Vaquero was almost half of that.

That's the first thing I thought of when seeing it for the first time.

I just kinda like the novelty of them, how they incorporated the shiny brass, akin to the Big Boys.
