Just stepped out in the back yard and shot my youth henry 22 a few times just cause a fella needs to pull a trigger every once in a while.......

amen .... sadly, they built an elementary school a few hundred yards from our place and that ended my ability to do so

I shoot off the back porch a lot.

I can but the deck is 30 miles away....have a long backyard!

The second house in Ephrata was across from an elementary school and I shot in the backyard all the time. Never when school was starting or ending and a billion kids were around but any other time yes.

The police auto shop was down the street and police drove by all the time and knew I was shooting.

There is a house right behind our local Recreational center Ball fields that they shoot an even hunt doves and no one even flinches when a shotgun goes off... at least for now. I shoot in the backyard all the time. I have 9 acres and control of another adjoining 10. Its the freedom I love.

My place is 45 acres surrounded by lots of woods and farmlands. Behind my horse barn which is 250 feet from the house is my rifle range with a well constructed shooting shed that shields me from bad weather. I can shoot anytime I want, no neighbors to worry about. Sometimes though, I have to wait for a roaming deer to get out of the firing line.
