Silverboy at 45 yds

Nice outing with the Silverboy .22lr
I shot probably 100 rounds with this rifle today. My 45 yard range is just that. 45 yards. I don't think anymore shooting for accuracy is needed. I shot until my eyes were blurry, and there were 2 Beagals running all over the ridge behind me, so I quit. Dang dogs. Here's the best I did today.
I think I want to try 100 yards with good ammo, not the junk I was using today.

Looks good Moetur. Had my Frontier out last weekend and was shooting some Remington ammo. Mine was shooting very well. Not as good as Bandit of course but I bet off the bags I could give him a bad time anyway.

Thanks guy's. It's such a sweet little rifle to shoot. I think if I can get my bench, bags, and supports just right, I just might be able to do ok at 100 yards.
Back in the 80's I had a little model 60 marlin that could print ok at 100 yards. It did have a 4x scope on it though.

That's the true measure of a marksman Al.
Most of my shooting is off hand. I use the bench to hold all my gear. Lol

Think you have that one nailed down at even 50 yds. Great shooting there!

Nice shooting

Now you can have fun with clay birds, pop cans, water bottles and various fruit. All of which I'd rather shoot than paper targets.

Thanks, yeah she's a straight shooter. I don't just shoot paper. There be plenty of dead cans, jugs, and old skillets or pots on my range, but I won't trash up my property shootin clays, and fruits just bring in critters that I'll have to deal with. Usually at night.
Cheers.

Great shooting Tom!
45 yards is about all I can eek out up at our cabin outside of Burnsville. Lots of property, but mostly wooded. Where I shoot, from the deck to the first switchback at the top of the driveway is a clear shot and the entire mountain is my back stop.

I forgot you was that close Mark. My youngest Boy is in Bakersville. He's been making the drive over here everyday. He's finally getting a place on this side of the line.
We enjoy shooting together.
