This is my very first Henry and it dates to 1999. I know a petite person that might want to shoot it. The buttstock comes off with one easy screw and I’m going to switch the standard stock with the youth.

It was made in Brooklyn NY.

Henry received a lot of complaints about the early plastic barrel band and front sight. A lot of owners took up Henrys offer for a free metal one when they became available. The metal ones do not have the nut insert.

Skinner can not modify the older plastic front sights.

This P-Rimfire scope is the same as the P-22 that is on the CZ.

And presto its a youth rifle.

I’m not sure when it will make it to the range but it should be soon.

Does Henry offer an alternative to the plastic front sight ? I mean that was a seriously cheesy decision to use a plastic front sight! (Barrel band as well)

They have been metal since the early 2000’s.

I should have been more clear - I was wondering if there is a replacement for the EARLIER plastic ones.

The answer is Yes. Henry will happily replace the plastic barrel bands and front sights on ALL H001 rifles that were made with them.

The rifle has a nice looking Scope on it too.
