Levers and Wheel Guns

Post by badrat55 » Tue Apr 16, 2019 10:34 am

Sometimes you just have to try and go back to simpler times any way you can.
.22lr lever guns and single action revolvers are always a good choice!

I have a few and they do tend to be some of my favorites. In fact I just finished ordering another lever but this time it's a single shot.

Great for yard work; shooting snakes and making holes in things so the water will drain. :D

Back about 5 years when I had the Simmons on there.

I like the drainage improvement idea. Lol
Remember, it's not how many guns you have. It's how many bullets you have.

Badrat, I like the refinishing, really looks great.
I should look at doing my Henry, I have kinda already made it my own.
Here's mine with the Rough Riders at the bottom, and the Single-sixes at the top.

Totally agree!

Every Henry lever action I own has a Ruger single action of the same caliber except for the .45-70 and I have no intentions of owning a single action .45-70.

I bought a Rough Rider to complement my Henry Classic. It is a nice little revolver and.......it has the 4 "Colt" clicks. I love both guns. I'm excited as I get to buy a new Golden Boy tomorrow!!!

Not all of my Lever guns have a matching revolver.
But, all the pistol caliber lever guns do. :D
357 Mag., 41 Mag., 44 Mag., & the 45 Colt.
And of course the 22's.

Couldn't agree with you more Steve 51. My Henry 38/357 is backed with a 1971 Ruger 3 screw blackhawk and a Uberti El Patron. My Henry 45 Colt is backed with a Blackhawk and a Uberti Cattleman. I am hoping that I have been good enough to get a Big Boy 45-70 for Christmas, god knows I've dropped enough hints to Mrs Clause !
