I kind of finished a series of range reports last time out and will start again. The last series tested CZ's and Henrys in .22WMR and .17HMR. Well I'm going back to .22LR and will be shooting two Henrys. Both Henrys are Small Game Carbines, both have youth stocks but have different custom large loops. The one on top is modeled after The Rifleman while the lever on the bottom has the profile of most rifles used in John Wayne movies. In particular in Rio Bravo so that is what I call the lever.

Some of you will recognize the scope as the one I used last week on the CZ Mannlicher. I liked it so much I wanted to see what the Henry could do with it. Seems I'm always shooting from a bench or offhand but there are other stances and I'm thinking of kneeling or prone. Both are legitimate field positions.



When I'm holding these rifles they just shout shoot me, shoot me, shoot me.

I bet there is a lot of shouting that happens in your gun rooms(s) whenever you mosey in to select the rifles you'll take to the range!

I'm going to be shooting high-end Norma and RWS ammo so I'm hoping to get some good groups. In the past both of these have given me the best targets from a Henry.

It would be hard to argue with firearms that insistent on being shot. Good thing you wear hearing protection.

This one just told me it wants to tag along.

Need bigger levers.
