Does anyone make a short Weaver Rail/Picatinny rail that has a dovetail mount on the bottom. I'd like to have the option of replacing the rear sight with a scout scope or peep sight. I think about 2.5" would be the perfect length.
Anyone ever seen this?

Search Picatinny rail to dovetail in Google. There are tons of options. I use a D.I.P. products Picatinny rail on my H001 and love it. It is to long for what you want to do. There are shorter ones made though.

If using peep sights is what you want Skinner makes a rear peep sight that slides right on the dovetail. I just put one of these on my Winchester 9422. Fits tight and gives the full rifles length for sight radius. I am not sure if I can post this but I hope it helps. There are several Cantilever rimfire scope rails on eBay.
