My New H004

Post by Nam Vet » Fri Apr 29, 2016 4:29 pm

Finally got to shoot my new Henry. It was pure joy. Been shooting since the early 80's but this is my 1st 22 rifle. As a matter of fact bought my 1st 22, 2 years ago a Ruger Single Six. Cant believe I missed all those years of of shooting fun. Now their my favorite range guns.

Beautiful pair you have there.

Over the last few years I have bought mostly .22 rifles and pistols instead of centerfire. I hope you enjoy your Henry as much as I enjoy mine!

Good shooting to ya!

Very nice! As long time .22 owner I really enjoyed the H001 I bought a couple days ago. Its my next to favorite of many .22 rifles. I still have my first rifle, 1966 Remington 550-1 its a tube fed auto from a time when walnut was standard, function and accuracy was a given. At 12yr old it was my dream rifle. The henry rifles I own now (bbs .44mag and .22 H001) remind me of the quality that other manufacturers have lost. I believe they will be if not already are the " king " of American made lever action rifles.

Yeah those Golden Boys remind me of the Original Henrys. :D

And recently, you can actual find .22 ammo at a good price. The last couple of days there's been A LOT of .22 on the various sites, including Gander, Cabelas, Natchez, and the rest.

That rifle and pistol were made for each other. I've shot high powered rifle for decades but now prefer plinking with a rimfire.
