Range Day on Tuesdays
Hopefully I'll be heading to the range every Tuesday. Tomorrow I'll be taking a CZ in .22WMR as a continuation of my Henry report. But I'll also take along a Henry in .17HMR and well as a CZ in the same caliber. So three rifles are up next.

Re: Range Day on Tuesdays
Tuesdays are range days for Clovispup and I. I'm off on Tuesdays and the range is normally not too busy then. Something we look forward to all week. Clovispup is getting really good with the Henrys. She is much better free standing with them than I am. Of course, she spends a lot more time practicing that than I do. I keep telling myself that anyway.

Thursday is the day I most often get to the range. Wish it could be every day.

Re: Range Day on Tuesdays
I've been shooting mostly offhand the last few months but last week and tomorrow I'll be bench shooting.
I don't like the red on the Henry stock. Might change it to orange.

Re: Range Day on Tuesdays
Tuesday's have been the best time for me to get range time, too. Like Clovishound's range, mine isn't very busy then and I try to get there in the early afternoon just after they open so I can avoid the drive time traffic. It's been weeks since I've been shooting. I'm looking forward to my next trip. Maybe next week.

Re: Range Day on Tuesdays
For the most part, Tuesdays are my days for range time also. Sometimes get out on Thursdays, even less often on a Saturday.
I have five range choices to visit: two MO Dept of Conservation ranges, one indoor range, and two friends' ranges. Not surprising, my favorite range is the one farthest away -- this friend lives just over an hour north of me!
But I'm grateful to have the options within striking (shooting?) distance. This week there may be no chance for the outdoor ranges as the weather predicts high thunderstorm chance almost every day. So a trip to Cabelas may happen --- not as much fun, but will do okay.

Mondays are my range day! Today I took a CZ75 frame with a "SA" slide and a Kadet 22lr adapter!
I run a 17lb main spring in the frame and have no problems with light strikes with 22's. The Kadet is
Just so much fun! The SA slide is set up for target shooting with the firing pin block removed and has
An extended firing pin. I like the look of the SA slide better than the 75 slide.
