Will Sir Henry approve?
The Weaver C4 I bought Saturday is to nice a scope to lay up on a shelf and not use it. I like the old looks of the ones Sir Henry has on his Henry 22's and decided my Frontier may be the perfect rifle to put that scope on. I have some other C scopes here but I need to find some 3/4" rings. I don't care for the one piece Weaver base and ring set up. Thought I had some so now I have to dig into my stash and see if I can come up with some. If not that will be something I will have to look for at the shows. Here is how it looks on the Frontier.

Well done! That is certainly a great looking rifle. The sling and boot are a nice touch.

Re: Will Sir Henry approve?
if the scope and rifle work together in practice as they look, they should serve you well

Looking forward to a range report! And the silver looks great!
Re: Will Sir Henry approve?
I always enjoy seeing pictures of that Henry. I bought a silver Simmons 4x32 scope and hammer extension so far but still need to pick up a H001-T to put it on.

Sounds like the start of a "Name This Carbine Contest."
How about "Amigo" because it looks like the perfect "Trail Buddy."
