Silver Eagle

Post by wolfpack65 » Sat Apr 16, 2016 7:29 am

It happened again. :)

Another Henry - It is a Silver Eagle, .22 :)
And special to me.

Came into the gun store on Wednesday and now is home with me.
Beautiful rifle.
Pictures don't do it justice, maybe I'll get a chance to get some outside in the sunlight this weekend.

I don't know what else to say…absolutely beautiful and just as special as Sam.

So, here's a few pictures.

"absolutely beautiful" is a major understatement, its way beyond that level .. 8-) .. with a rifle that looks like it does, I have to ask, will it be a collector's wall hanger or an active shooter ?

I'd say your pictures "meted out justice" just fine.
That engraving on your Silver Eagle is stunning.

Congrats & Enjoy :!:

Great pictures. Thanks. That is some awesome looking wood on that very special rifle. I know it's beautiful and deserves to be on display, but I do hope you show it off by shooting at the range, too.

It'd be hard to shoot something that pretty. On the other hand, it'd be hard not shooting it, too. What a nice dilemma to have! :)

Thanks!

It will be shot, but probably won't be a regular at the range.
I'm not one to get stuff that just sits around looking pretty.
I like to shoot my firearms.

It's really beautiful, the engraving is awesome, and the wood is beautiful.
I really like both the Henry's I have, both being extremely special to me. :)

Thanks everyone.

I'm really hoping to get to the range this afternoon and shoot both of them.

Hard to believe I received both in the span of just 7 days.

I have three brasslite receiver covers and while they look purdy I've found them to be quite durable.
