Henry Fundraiser rifle inbound!

I just bought one of the 50, TEAM KEANE fundraiser rifles. I’ve considered doing this for years. Every time I wait, while consternating, they sell out.
This time, I snagged one of the better looking ones…as far as the stock design goes. Though there have been many cool and compassionate designs, this one really appeals to me personally.
And, I’ve always wanted a Henry lever 22.

This will be my third Henry. I've got a Single shot in 44 Mag and a Big Boy (A beautiful case colored one) in 45 Colt. My one and only other lever 22 is a 1960 Marlin 39A.
I'm looking forward to this new Henry.

Are you going to shoot it? Also I am a big fan of the 39A.

I haven't decided yet. But most likely I will. I used to have several handguns that were never fired, bought them at an estate sale for a S&W dealer that passed away. I held onto them for several years and started selling them. I ended up keeping and shooting a few.
I will most likely shoot this too.

Good for you...
I have never been one to buy guns that I didn't plan on shooting.
Colt came out with the USMC 1911s for the Corps and decided to market a civilian version. A buddy had a contact at Colt and was in line for three as soon as they came available. He asked if I wanted one, "They will be collectable down the line." I'd love to have one, but I will shoot the crap out of it, so I might as well just buy a standard Kimber, Springfield, or Colt... He rolled his eyes...

His is still sitting unfired in the back of his safe and has increased in value, he rarely touches it.
I shoot everything in my safe...
