Well, I can't seem to figure out how to post pics on this site.
At any rate, I just brought home a new in the box Henry Garden Gun.
It's a .22lr shot shell only smooth barrel lever action beauty.
I'm not sure, but I think the inner magazine tube may be slightly bent.
It was very difficult to remove and I noticed rub marks on two spots when I got it out
I guess it could be the outer mag tube that is out of straight...
Anybody know where I can find some .22lr shot shells?

There is some for sale on Ammoseek but they are not cheap. Most cases they are .50 cents a round. To me thats insaneMgderf wrote: ↑Thu Mar 16, 2023 6:32 pmWell, I can't seem to figure out how to post pics on this site.

Look for the CCI's. They're supposed to be better than the Federal's.
For as often as this type of gun will be used, the ammo is affordable. Definitely not a target shooter or plinker. NOT what it was designed for.

That's right, shoot it to test the function, pattern at a few distances.markiver54 wrote: ↑Thu Mar 16, 2023 8:02 pmLook for the CCI's. They're supposed to be better than the Federal's.

Every once in a while just shoot it a few times just for the fun.

Congratulations on the Garden Gun.
I hope you can find some ammunition that is affordable. I find the GG very useful around my place.

Well, to tell you the truth, I bought this, because...daytime dave wrote: ↑Fri Mar 17, 2023 10:21 amCongratulations on the Garden Gun.

I saw it sitting in my local gun shop a month ago.
It was still there when I went back two weeks later.
I posted locally about seeing it and answered questions about it's location and price.
It was still on the shelf when I went in yesterday.
But the biggest reason I bought this, was...I didn't have one!
I do now
