My Henry .22 will not feed

Hello I have a Henry H001, that I love shooting, just stopped same. Extreme Bummer. It will not feed a round into the chamber. A round does not pop up when the lever is fully downward. I seems the part that lifts the rounds up so the bolt can catch them is frozen or not functioning. I was wondering if anybody has had this happen, if there is any possible field fix or do I just need to send it in. Thanks!

Maybe a disassembly and complete cleaning could fix the problem.

I was thinking that is a possibility. Thanks

Check the tube. It may have come loose and dropped down towards the receiver. If so, it won't feed. Doesn't take much movement to cause an issue.

Just a thought that maybe the problem is with the ejector spring not clearing the previously spent round? 🤷

Not to long ago I tried to feed a round that was a misfire from another rifle, that dent in the rim was enough to keep the round from feeding front the feed tube to the chamber. Pulling the tube, I was able to remove that "stuck" round.
Lesson learned, don't try to reuse a rimfire round. At only $.10 a round it's not worth it! ;)
