Muzzle Adjustment

Post by leverjc » Sun Nov 06, 2022 10:03 pm

I thought I was over this but it started spinning in my head again while I was getting ready to have my Frontier Cerakoted. The last quarter inch of the bore was not finished correctly, The grooves were consistently getting wider and shallower. I sent it back to Henry and instead of a new barrel they sent it back telling me that they "Adjusted the Muzzle". I was tired of dealing with Henry's poor workmanship on the repairs I had dealt with on my BBS so I figured if it shot decently, I would just shoot it. It would shoot around 2" groups at fifty yards most of the time so I have tried to live with the adjusted muzzle. I guess I am still angry.

Looks like the seeing eye dog at H.R.A. had the day off. Shame on them for allowing your rifle barrel to be made in China. That must be the only explanation for such poor workmanship and sorry customer service. I think that you should e-mail Mr. I. before you send it back again.

Typical for Henry, produce high priced crap and expect us to put up with their half as_ed engineering, workmanship and quality.
