I'm posting this in the rimfire section as I'm not sure I would want to try this with a centerfire. With the H001 and iron sights I'm able to put my nose against my thumb that is crossing the tang. This gives me a quick and accurate same place position for sighting. It's similar to putting your nose against the charging handle of an AR15.
Anyone else do this?
Site seems to be working OK.

Re: nose/thumb weld
I find that I do it sometimes. I don't like to do it. Usually I will consciously move my thumb before firing........usually.
Some days I'm Andy, most days I'm Barney........

Hey it doesn't hurt on a .22LR or even the M16. Its not like I'm shooting a 45-70.
