Just to update everyone I didn’t fix the stock. I might someday however it’s just not that important now that the shock has worn off.

I would rather have someone else scratch or gouge a stock on my guns than me. I feel badly if I do it. I don't feel as bad if someone else does it. After all, I loanred it to them.

I agree that your canoe and kayak are things of beauty Ernie.
