My Henry Evil Roy Henry
Ok Guy's/Gal's
I decided to buy another Henry rifle since I was so pleased with my 357 Mag classic. I wanted to buy a rifle that was short enough I would not have to change the LOP. I looked and decided on a Henry Evil Roy due to the advertised LOP of 13". It also had the large loop and a hexagon barrel that was shorter 17". I liked the brushed nickel finish also.
I bought this rifle off of GunBroker due to my LGS could not order one from Henry. As a dealer they are only sent what Henry wants to send them during these hard times.
When I received the rifle it was not 13" LOP it was 13.75" LOP. This is probably because it was made in 2015. So I did end up cutting the LOP to 12.5" due to my shorter stature and replacing the butt plate. I also stripped and finished the stock with a wax finish. I Love the feel of the warm wood and it can be fixed easily if damaged. I bought a Marbles Bullseye rear sight for it and replaced the front sight since someone had taken off the original front factory sight. I also put a saddle ring from Henry on it. I like the saddle ring to look more like a Winchester way of putting it on, not the way Henry does it. Wrapped the Big Loop Lever and put some Bling Beads on her to honor my .25 Lakota wife witch I do on all my rifles. I Love the way it turned out and even with cutting the stock down to 12.5" LOP I was ably to keep the Evil Roy engraving.
This rifle is going straight to the top of the list along with my Browning BL-22 rifles. It is just smooth and fun and so comfortable to shoot. I forgot that I also changed the magazine follower to a brass follower. It shoots straight and can hit my steel plates easily with it.
Just Love this rifle and I have never been a big fan of Henry 22lr rifles. This has changed my mind.

Don't worry about getting older and still doing stupid stuff. You'll do the stupid stuff as always, only much slower. Hold my beer and watch this.......

Thank you,
I would love to color the Evil Roy engraving back in to black and not sure how to or how I want to do it. Thinking about getting a fine point sharpie and using that but not sure if I ever do.

That is a fine rifle and they are great to plink with and great work you did on yours. I have one also and only thing I did to it was add one of my ghost ring sight inserts to the rear sight. I love to plink cans with it with .22 Quiets or CB's down at the creek.

Here you go. I made one for each of my Henry lever rifles. Made from ends of hacksaw blades.jstanfield103 wrote: ↑Wed May 04, 2022 7:55 pmThanks guy's,
