Pump action H003T 22 lr Henry came in today

Post by Brando73 » Wed Nov 10, 2021 7:23 pm

I ordered this just last week from Night Hawk and it's here already. I've looked everywhere for one and I got a great deal with this. I was late comming home from a meeting and by the time I got to my FFL it was late and storming like crap. I'm in Southern Oklahoma. I stopped by and the weather was messing with the internet so I told them I'd just pick it up tomorrow as it was near closing time and I hate to make people stay late. So tomorrow is cool. Also got good news when I got home to find my Hi Rez front and back sights were in. This will replace the buckhorn sights with green adjustable fiber optics in the rear and red fiber optic in front to replace the gold bead. They came from Henry and will be great additions.
I'll probably put one of the optics I have on top. I have a couple of leupolds that would do great. I don't know. I will be having the action cover nickle plated as with the trigger guard. I did this on my Henry .17HMR varmint and it looks great. Expensive but great.
I'll have pictues of the gun tomorrow.

I love my Henry pump but my granddaughter loves it more. She’s my shooting partner so she gets to use it when we go out. I put a Leupold Rimfire 1 x 4 on it. As my granddaughter says “it’s sweet”

I love mine. It will be stiff for the first 250 to 500 rounds just pump it like you are mad at it.

Don't worry about getting older and still doing stupid stuff. You'll do the stupid stuff as always, only much slower. Hold my beer and watch this.......

I have a Marlin 39 that I traded for many years ago and also have a Henry pump .22 L.R. I love the Marlin but if I had to just keep one, it would be the Henry. Try to get a Speed D Loader so when you go to the range you can spend more time shooting and less time loading.

I have one of those tube speed loaders and they work great. When I ordered it I ordered 2 of them one for a friend of mine. On mine the spring bracket on the cap broke. I contacted the company and they immediately sent me a new caps and told me they were sorry that they had some trouble with bad materials.

Brando73, I think that you will find that the trigger guard on the pump rifle is some kind of plastic. Maybe you have a way of plating it?
