Got my new 357 carbine today

Post by Ernie » Fri Sep 17, 2021 5:28 pm

Stopped at the LGS on the way home from work to find my carbine had been delivered there today. Action is smooth per Henry normal and the side gate is easy to load with no pinching. Trigger is crisp and breaks at 5 pounds. Very pleased with the CCH and the stock has a decent personality. Got to bring it home today at the price I was quoted last December. Very Happy.

Now have to mount my Skinner peep, add the sling, lever wrap, and leather on the stock.

Nice gun Ernie. Glad you got a nice one after all that wait.

Don't worry about getting older and still doing stupid stuff. You'll do the stupid stuff as always, only much slower. Hold my beer and watch this.......

Agree and the figure in the buttstock lines up nicely with the CCH. That’s a good looking firearm.
