The Glock Tennifer holds up well too. I know I was out in some nasty winter weather in all the years I worked patrol and none of my duty weapons corroded, nor did my concealed carry personal weapons. I, of course, took excellent care of mine, but I inspected the department weapons in detail twice a year, and randomly at briefing several times a quarter for all the officers. I never found corrosion on the firearms. I expect similar coatings would hold up well on the rifles in nasty conditions with minimal maintenance.
You can tell a lot about the character of a man...
by the way he treats those who can do nothing for him.
I don't look back at the things I can no longer do, I just look forward to the things I still can.

I too would like a stainless steel rimfire Henry preferring a Frontier model. Maybe someone from Henry monitors our threads on what we would like to see be made.

Watching Swamp People on History this morning....saw what looked to be a H001 laying in the rain in the bottom of the boat...made my stomach hurt!

Cheaper rifle like that is a lot better than a more expensive rifle when using it as it should be. A Tool. That would be the perfect rifle for them. Does bother you when you see it though, definitely. They probably clean it right up afterwards.
