I saw one

Post by daytime dave » Fri Mar 08, 2024 6:45 pm

I stopped by a gun shop I used to frequent. They had a homesteader on the wall that I spotted as I was checking out. I recognized it immediately after I looked over that way. I really liked the looks, but was pressed for time and didn't handle it.
I could see making one mine in the future.
It had the classic walnut and blued steel look that I prefer. It stood out among other pistol caliber carbines I had seen.

Nice Find!
I have two additional single actions on hold... ... just waiting for them to ship.
I don't think Miss Tina would like it if I added a rifle.

Don't worry about getting older and still doing stupid stuff. You'll do the stupid stuff as always, only much slower. Hold my beer and watch this.......

No, I will try and control myself. I did ask if it was set up for the Glock magazines or not. It was not.

But if it was..............

I saw one the other day too. It’s just not my cup of tea. I like levers, bolts and pumps.

Me too, in calibers that start with 10mm and go to Win 458 magnum........Other than a machine gun I see no need for a 9mm "peashooter" rifle.
