Scalping is already over?

Post by 5shot » Sat Oct 21, 2023 9:27 pm

Boy that sure didn't last long. About 6 months ago Gunbroker had Homesteader listings at well over $1000 and I believe some were in the $1299 range. A cruise on Gunbroker tonight shows a bunch of Homesteaders in the low to mid $700 range. The ones that make it to the salesrack around here don't stick around long so it would seem they are selling well. I know that mine is a plate rack monster with the Burris FXIII and I really like it. :D

Was in Sportsmans Warehouse yesterday. I didn't even look at the price of the Homesteader I handled for a little while. Not really in the market for a new gun right now but the Homesteader certainly could go on the short list. Also looked at an All Weather 45/70. Don't need or want a 45/70 but an All Weather in .357 is a little bit higher on the short list.

I would like one in stainless or All Weather, to go with my 10/22 Takedown, but it is currently illegal in WA with that very dangerous threaded muzzle.
