All that said, I would choose a Homesteader 45 ACP over 9mm for a camp gun.

So true. Could also be I was not too awful happy about the mass at the front of the rifle - it was an adj butt (tube and pad only) and the Mlok fore end. Balance was likely not to my liking. It was fun, don't get me wrong, just not enough for me to want one. And I don't want the 9mm Homesteader, I would like a 45ACP, just cause
