Apparently it's not available in NY
At first, I thought it was just fairly rare. I spoke to a fellow in a gun shop a while ago and he said it wasn't NY compliant. Don't know why. No wonder I've never seen one.

I thought I posted this in the Homesteader section.
I'm talking about the Henry Homesteader. I don't know what it has that NY doesn't allow, except perhaps a threaded barrel end. On a 9mm, is that a necessity? We can't have cans here, so maybe a NY compliant? Dunno.

That's a shame daytime dave. The Homesteader is a nice little carbine. I've got just over a thousand trouble free rounds through mine and it's my favorite for ringing steel on our 50 yard plate rack.

That configuration is banned here in Washington State too but the LGS has a non threaded version in stock. Tempting to add it to the collection of firearms I’m not shooting now.Mags wrote: ↑Mon Mar 16, 2026 9:25 pmsemi-autos with a threaded barrel are banned in NY.daytime dave wrote: ↑Mon Mar 16, 2026 7:25 pmI thought I posted this in the Homesteader section.
