1st AR-7 shoot this year.

Son and I went to the range yesterday. He shot his Ruger 10-22 and I used my AR-7. WE set targets at 50 yards. He's a much better shooter than I am, but I managed to hold my own. After 100 rounds I could account for all but 10 on paper. Only had one missfire. I reloaded it in the next magazine and it worked just fine. Also rang some 10 inch steel at 100 yards, so I'm happy with with this rifle. I got to checking, I'm at around 1200 round through it with no issues. It seems to do a pretty good job for what it is.

I think it's a fun and good shooting rifle.

How many rifles can you pack into their own stock, have them fall out of the kayak, and they float?
You can tell a lot about the character of a man...
by the way he treats those who can do nothing for him.

I don't look back at the things I can't do anymore with regret, I just look forward to the things I still can.
