A great time was had by all, that's for sure, and what a great group to kick off what will hopefully be more of these around the country.

In fact, BigAl, we'd be most enthused to come to COLORADO for a gathering, so please and thank you!

Kudos must also go out to JEB's wife, who was our official dinnertime photographer and graciously listened to many of Jim's stories for approximately the 250th time (her estimate, not ours - we asked)! Some REALLY fine stories, though. Gotta love a good "tracking prison escapee(s)" story or two (or three or four)!

More target pics/range reports to come. We marked up quite a few targets with shooter, rifle, caliber, distance, etc. Will probably end up in Range Reports under "KC Outing" or something like that. A great PT7 story to tell on that front, too!

E, did you invite any of the 1911 folks?
I've lost track of most of those guys, B, and, as far as I know, there's not a Henry owner among them.

We tried to smile as big as we could, but figured a little help would be good, too!

I think it was the smell of gun powder. My story and I'm sticking with it.

well, its taken a while but earlier today I took care of the last of the unfinished task left from our gathering in KC .... that being, to thoroughly clean the rifles and shotgun fired during our summer trip to South Dakota and while at the gathering in KC as well as one in St Louis .... couldn't take care of it while we were traveling because my cleaning kit was one of the items we forgot to pack for our trip .. :? .. collectively a couple of thousand rounds were fired and we enjoyed every one of them ... :D ... already looking forward to next summer
