I have a scabbard for it, and will pack it occasionally just for the sheer fun of it, but the 1860 is my saddle rifle. Yes it will shoot the same loads as the 1860, however I did load up some higher end 45 Colt just to see how they go. Not at max though, and I am not interested in shooting +P loads.

Good call on not going +P loads. Don't need 'em. That High Wall is going to have a tough time shooting as tight as that 1860. Make it work.

Really nice looking rifle. I've no doubt it'll shoot straight. Looking forward to seeing a 500 yd target filled with holes :)
