This was 100 yds off hand for the 1 shot I got before it jammed up. Rear tang up. Like I say, it shoots ok but I don't like the ejector issue at all.

At least that one was excellent! Hope you get the ejector issue resolved.

I’m not losing sleep over it. Tomorrow I will make smoke for my friends south of the border. Salute!
Thanks for the smoke salute. We like your type of smoke much better than the smoke your neighbors in BC are sending us.

Maybe I asked this before and you tried it but dont remember. Does it hang with a certain brand of brass or all of it?

Don't worry about getting older and still doing stupid stuff. You'll do the stupid stuff as always, only much slower. Hold my beer and watch this.......

Doesn’t seem to matter on the brass. I have read some others have issues as well with 45 Colt brass in theirs. Let’s face it the rifle is not designed for pistol cartridge so it might just be how it is.
So live with it or turn it into cash for lead/caps/powder.

Im guessing you are like me. If its supposed to work a certain way thats the way I want it to work. If it doesnt I either try to get it fixed or get rid of it. I want it to work like its supposed to.

How about a slight taper ream to the chamber? 45-70 ejects easy due to the slight taper of the case. Couple degree of taper in chamber should help.

I took the emery paper to it last night but think it would take more than that so maybe a ream would do it, don't know. Al and I think alike; work like it's supposed to or bye-bye....
