Nice little truck gun for the farm

Post by Ozarkwoodswalker » Wed Jun 17, 2020 5:12 am

nothing fancy. Just a little truck gun I got. A little new england firearms 223. It has a bull barrel..i had it cut down to 16 5 inches.. changed out some plastic parts( trigger guard etc ) for some custom made brass ones by a gent I ran into on line. He made the parts in a backyard machine shop he had
Anyway....a happy little gun that will shoot where you point it...and it's a hoot to shoot...the varmits are dismayed...i am happy......😁

Pics my friend, don't tease
You can tell a lot about the character of a man...
by the way he treats those who can do nothing for him.

I don't look back at the things I can no longer do, I just look forward to the things I still can.

Won't let me load pictures... it says its the wrong pixels high and wide. Just backwards of what it wants...
Anybody know what to do about that?

I haven't heard of this message before, so it's difficult to say why it is happening.

This is how it SHOULD work.
  • Use the Full Editor and Preview Window to create your message.
  • There is a tab below the editing window called "Attachements". Click it.
  • There will be a button called "Add Files". Click it.
  • A new window will open for you to select the image from your local hard drive. Find the image, select it with your cursor, and click the "Open" button.
  • Your file will be uploaded for you to include in your message, as well as a place to add a caption if you like.
  • Place your cursor in the message where you want the image to appear.
  • Click the "Place Inline" button.
  • Submit your message.
Good luck.

Run into that sometimes and I go into the edit menu and make the picture a little smaller. Sometimes it works .....

You can use a third party, online service to modify your pictures. There are several to choose from. Try this one: https://resizeimage.net/
Good luck.

Sorry to resurrect an old thread - that is a fine looking mod on your truck gun!

I have a Hornet I love to take out, it's the all synthetic model, it shoots so well I'd hate to change a thing. I could go for 223 with wooden furniture...

Again, good looking rifle, well, carbine?
