Christmas Gift

Post by wvhills » Sun Dec 25, 2022 8:57 pm

Wife gave me a small box this morning, just had a picture in it of a single shot rifle, a Winchester High Wall, asked if i would like one, i said "yep"
she went downstairs and came back up with a lot bigger box.... 38-55 Limited Edition, i had been looking at 38-55's and she noticed...

this is the 2nd time she has bought me a rifle, Love this Gal..

WOW! It's a beaut, congrats on a fine rifle, and in a really cool caliber.
Sounds like the wife is a real keeper.
Merry Christmas.

Those limited edition Winchesters are gorgeous. Mine 1885s are my pet rifles. Congrats.

Your wife’s process of the small box with a photo leading to a size of box we all would identify as a rifle was priceless. Nice job of not letting the cat out of the bag so to speak. :D

You definitely have a keeper, they are a blessing. That is a beautiful Single Shot, and I have had one on my bucket list for years.

I am lucky enough to have one as well. (A good woman, not the rifle.) :)
You can tell a lot about the character of a man...
by the way he treats those who can do nothing for him.

I don't look back at the things I can no longer do, I just look forward to the things I still can.
