Reproduction Ammo Display

Post by Sir Henry » Fri Jan 12, 2024 2:51 pm

I posted about an online action selling two ammo cases a few weeks ago. I found someone that makes reproductions for less and bought two. I cropped wide on the picture so you can get an idea on the size. They are very sturdy and high quality.

I paid $200 each with no tax or shipping.

If you hadn't said they were reproductions, I wouldn't have known. Those are really nice.

What Dave said, that one on the right looks similar to one of those that was auctioned off.
Nice snag, can't wait to see them filled. ;) :o

I'm highly impressed with the Double Bubble canister as well. I remember those Bazooka Joe cartoons inside the Bazooka bubble gum too!

Is that a PBR sign in your window? If so, ya don't see many of them around either.

Very-very nice PBR neon sign! I remember the Miller High Life sign at my grandparent's cabin during the 60's era. It had a lit glass of beer and the bouncing lights that I could watch for hours. They also had some wooden advertising pictures (I think it was Hamms) of a guy fishing from a small boat with his dog...the dog's tail was hanging over the transom in the water and a snapping turtle at the water surface ready to take a chomp! Great memories...thanks for sharing your neon.

Not the best setup yet but cabin fever is setting in and I have limited things I can do.
