Re: Cabela's Shipping
Depends on the USPS driver. Our regular driver will bring the mail to house if he has a package to deliver. Now his day off relief driver won't do that. To the relief driver mail goes in the box regardless of if there is package for the porch.

Guess they've never heard " work smarter not harder ". Not very hard though to carry a handful of 90% junk mail.

Re: Cabela's Shipping
I honestly think it is a bit of retaliation for us complaining about non-delivery once. They didn't deliver in a few days and when I went to ask about it, they said the mailbox was not accessible. They said the snow was blocking access.
I make it a point to run the plow on my tractor underneath the mailbox and push that snow away. The postmaster said it needs to be XX inches below and XX inches behind the face of the mailbox, but whatever, I went and redid it. No more problems since then.
We have two people do the rural delivery, and the woman seems very nice, but the guy, well, not so much.
