30-30 Buffalo Bore

Post by vasi19 » Sat Aug 26, 2023 4:23 pm

I was doing some google time and I came across Buffalo Bore 30-30 190.
The article says they can take down a moose and grizzly.
Anyone try these rounds in their Henry?

As I recall, it was too rich for my blood. But, I did pick up a couple of boxes in .357 for my Marlin. Have not shot any yet. They were not too cheap. So, I waiting, until I decide to take the .357 into the woods. Then, I may shoot a couple to check zero. So far, that day has not come yet.

No, haven't shot the BB 30-30 bear loads, but always wondered about that one. I have shot other BB bear loads in my revolvers, though. Oh, yeah, when Buffalo Bore says bear load, you get a bear load. Their 45 Colt +P bear loads in a Ruger Blackhawk make shooting standard 44 mags in my Ruger 44 seem like a picnic.
