.22 and 410

Post by graywolf » Wed Nov 09, 2022 9:29 pm

.22 ammo has been around locally for a while now, but it's got to the point when I ask about 410 folks act like they ain't ever heard of 410 ammo. I'm just glad I was able to order some before squirrel season came in.

I found some 410 #6 shot at the local Walmart.

Miss T ordered four boxes for her 410 from our favorite online supplier a couple months ago, about $1 a round, but it arrived promptly. It was home defense ammo, a slug followed by two balls.

Home defense ammo, but works on varmints just fine.

This is where she purchased the ammo, she has purchased both 410 and 9mm from them.

Our local BiMart has 410 ammo from time to time but it’s always Win AA target loads, #9 shot. :(

I believe 410 is a seasonal round and not made year round. When it comes into stock I recommend you buy as much as you can afford.

I stumbled into a deal a month or so ago and bought 500 rds.
I got them for .63 cents a piece, #8 Winchester AA's.
Best I've seen online since was .85 ea.
Mostly a buck a piece lately, glad I found those when I did. Haven't seen any locally i a long while.
