I’m thinking of doing an accuracy test for quiet, CB, and SV ammo. I’ll be using all CCI brand and 50 rounds each. Since that will be a lot of shooting I’m thinking 10 shots each and then repeat 5 times. That way if I get tired it won’t penalize the last ammo I shoot.
What I’m testing for is flyers and not absolute accuracy. Any suggestions or comments?

Re: Ammo Accuracy Test For Quiet
I'd include several up close distances so you know what ammo works for what distances, say, starting at 10 yards and working out to 30 or a bit more. In my experience with those loads, none of them are not 50 yard accurate with the exception of the CCI SV. I have had fair groups at 50 with that ammo.
Just my prediction, but I think you'll find all those will work pretty well out to 25 yard yards, but some better than others, of course.
Best of luck and we will all be eager to see your results.

Well I can say I have good luck hitting the things I shoot at with the CCI 22 LR Quiets. This target from 40 yds. with the Henry Pump.
The 22 hits in head area and off to upper left. I tend to hit solid targets better than paper.

Thanks I think I’ll do just that. Might break the distances up to different days. I might limit my shooting to 25 yards after my tests.fortyshooter wrote: ↑Thu Aug 18, 2022 10:26 amWell I can say I have good luck hitting the things I shoot at with the CCI 22 LR Quiets. This target from 40 yds. with the Henry Pump.
